AI Vey is a podcast about AI in India, for India, and from India.

There’s a lot of conversation around AI these days, but all of it is either US-centric, software-industry-centric, or breathless (clueless?) marketing. We want to create one that is India-centric: because India is different, and our concerns are not the same as those of Silicon Valley. Every podcast will be a conversation with a guest who is working on India’s own AI issues: languages, scale, cost, education, and the rather different realities of building for Indian users.

Who we are

Ashish Kulkarni is an economist, educator, writer, and AI worrier. He writes EconForEverybody, and works at the intersection of economics, education, public policy, finance, and AI.

Navin Kabra is co-founder and CTO of ReliScore, creator of PuneTech, a Visiting Professor of Practice at IIT Bombay TrustLab, and teaches topics ranging from AI and cryptography to game theory and critical thinking.

Together, we bring a mix of technology, economics, education, policy curiosity, and first-principles thinking. AI Vey is our excuse to learn in public and talk to people doing serious AI work in and for India.

Who should listen

AI Vey is for builders, founders, investors, policy people, educators, researchers, enterprise leaders, students, and curious generalists who want AI conversations that are India-aware, practical, and intellectually honest.
